Get to know the mission, values, and story behind Branches Christian Cooperative.
Branches Christian Cooperative began as a small group of homeschooling families who shared a common desire: to do more together than any one family could alone. What started as weekly park meetings and shared curriculum quickly grew into something more — a true cooperative community.
As our co-op grew, we recognized the need for a formal organizational structure to protect our families, receive donations, and ensure our mission would endure for generations. Thus, Branches Christian Cooperative (branchescc.org) was established as our 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity — the legal backbone that supports everything happening at branchescoop.org.
Today, we serve dozens of homeschooling families, offering shared classes and a support network that extends far beyond the classroom.
To support and strengthen Christian homeschool families by providing shared educational resources, fostering community fellowship, and nurturing the next generation in an environment grounded in biblical truth.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5
Our name reflects our belief that no family walks the homeschool journey alone. Like branches on a tree, we draw strength and nourishment from shared roots in Christ.
The formal structure behind our cooperative community.
You may notice that Branches Christian Cooperative operates under two domains, and we want to be transparent about why:
Both sites represent the same organization. The dual-domain structure enables us to serve both our families (through branchescoop.org) and our donors, partners, and regulatory bodies (through branchescc.org).
Why this matters: Our nonprofit organizational site provides transparency for nonprofit verification, grant applications, donor due diligence, and any organization that needs to verify our 501(c)(3) status.
